The Ezulwini Game Lodge is located in the middle of a nature reserve in Hluhluwe where various animals live such as giraffes, zebras, antelopes etc. Only friendly animals live in this nature reserve, so you don't have to worry about that. You first have to drive through the nature reserve to arrive at the lodges of the Ezulwini Game Lodge. We were immediately surprised by zebras and antelopes on the road. That already promised a lot.
What a great vibe at the Ezulwini Game Lodge
The Ezulwini Game Lodge in Hluhluwe has a great appearance. The cozy wooden lodges in the Ezulwini Game Lodge are all close together and form a kind of camp. In addition, the Ezulwini Game Lodge has a fire place, where you can warm up together in the evenings. There is a small swimming pool and a restaurant.

When we arrived at the Ezulwini Game Lodge we were immediately surprised by the appearance and vibe of this beautiful accommodation. But our surprise was even bigger when we got an upgrade to the Family House of the Ezulwini Game Lodge.

The Family House of the Ezulwini Game Lodge is a gigantic house with several bedrooms and bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and living room with fireplace. The Family house of the Ezulwini Game Lodge has so much space that we couldn't even choose where to sleep.

The best thing about the family house at the Ezulwini Game Lodge was the terrace of this beautiful house. On the terrace with its own lounge set, we looked out over the garden of the Family House with a trampoline for the children and a breathtaking view over the savannah of the park. What a gift this house was, where we experienced magical moments.
Giraffes at the Ezulwini Game Lodge, Hluhluwe
Several animals live in the nature reserve that surrounds the Ezulwini Game Lodge and with a bit of luck you will have the chance to see these animals up close. One evening we sat on the terrace of the family house at the Ezulwini Game Lodge, while the children played outside. It was pitch dark except for a few spots in the garden. Then we heard a crazy sound, an animal sound that we couldn't place. And suddenly, out of nowhere, five giraffes walk past, not even a few meters away. What a royal animal and what a magical moment. This moment was by far the most memorable moment we experienced during our trip through South Africa. And since then, every time we see a giraffe somewhere, we immediately get that magical moment back.

Ezulwini Game Lodge offers both breakfast and dinner. Because we didn't feel like looking for a restaurant every evening, we decided to eat both breakfast and dinner at the lodge. And it was very tasty. An excellent breakfast and a delicious dinner. There is certainly nothing to complain about breakfast and dinner at the Ezulwini Game Lodge.
The Ezulwini Game Lodge, an absolute must in Hluhluwe
To be quite honest there is just nothing wrong with the Ezulwini Game Lodge. The atmosphere and vibe of the Ezulwini Game Lodge are cozy and authentic. The lodges and rooms are all neat and clean and the staff are very friendly. The animals in the nature reserve all come very close, creating beautiful memories that you will never forget.
